Unidad de Hemodiálisis Chapultepec: Building a Visual Identity
This project was a comprehensive challenge in audiovisual production and branding, combining the creation of a corporate video with the strengthening of Unidad de Hemodiálisis Chapultepec’s visual identity. Based in Juchitán, Oaxaca, they reached out to me with the goal of developing a video that would showcase the patient experience, the quality of their facilities, and the excellence of their medical team.
The process began with planning the trip from Puebla, organizing each stage: pre-production, production, and post-production. During filming, we captured footage that highlighted the professionalism of the nursing staff and the top-tier infrastructure they offer. In addition to the corporate video, I conducted photography sessions and incorporated motion graphics elements to enhance the visual presentation.
Upon arrival, I noticed that the brand lacked a clear visual identity, with multiple versions of its logo and no definitive design. I proposed a rebranding based on their most recent logo, redesigning it to be more modern and legible. From this new concept, we created an animated version of the logo and developed a stronger corporate identity, including a brand guideline that unified their image.
The result was a comprehensive package that not only fulfilled the initial goal of showcasing the clinic’s essence but also laid the foundation for a cohesive visual strategy that could continue evolving across digital media and social platforms. This project was not just an exercise in audiovisual production but also an opportunity to enhance the brand’s presence and communication within its industry.
