Volkswagen: Corporate Production
This project for Volkswagen was a large-scale production spanning four key cities: Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, and Puebla. The objective was to create a professional and dynamic corporate video, complemented by event photography and private sessions for the Volkswagen team.
My role in the project involved coordinating logistics in each city to ensure a smooth and efficient production. Additionally, I edited two versions of the video: a longer, more detailed version and a shorter one for distribution across various platforms. A standout feature in post-production was the use of tracking in drone footage to insert the names of each city, enhancing the visual narrative of the project.
Filming with drones presented different challenges in each location. In Puebla and Guadalajara, the shots were relatively straightforward, with a strong corporate focus. In Monterrey, strong winds posed a technical challenge, but with precise adjustments, we captured an excellent shot. In Mexico City, we were staying near Benito Juárez International Airport, which imposed flight restrictions. However, by properly notifying the authorities and ensuring correct drone operation, I was able to complete the shoot successfully.
After completing production in each city, the project moved into post-production, where editing, color correction, and final image processing were completed. Everything was delivered on time, resulting in a powerful corporate video that effectively showcased Volkswagen’s presence in Mexico.
